Make The Fiddle Sing

Sometimes you just need to play the fiddle right, to make it sing passionately and take your breath away.

I would say this is not uncommon, that moment when you see the person you were with before doing something that he/she refused to do before.

Suddenly they are swing dancing so happily, but they refuse to take lessons back in the day. Suddenly they are baking like a chef, but they won't even cook instant noodle before. Suddenly they are the ultimate sex-bomb, but they were so prude before a nun would look sinful compared to them.

Some changed, of course. Separation brings the best or the worst of people. It leads us to such extreme that we often find ourselves in the "Fuck it let's do it" moment, and somehow the experience got stuck with us and become a part of our personality.

Some, however, found someone to coax that side of them.

They were probably already good with the beat but you keep finding fault with them. They probably wanted to try to cook but what they prefer was not what you prefer. They probably were closeted nymphos but you didn't feel safe for them. And then this person, or these people, came along. Suddenly what doesn't feel right when they were with you feels just perfect when they are with these people.

A lot of it is chemistry and compatibility. We all need to be in a certain comfort level to try and/or keep doing things that are new to us. Some of it are also our own doing, the way we treat our partners and the way we made them feel. Some of it is just how the dice rolls, circumstances and conditions that are not allowing either of us to be happy together.

It hurts like hell to see someone we (used to) love doing things that they won't do with us. If you feel this way, remember that stories have character developments. They grow into what they are now, and that is okay. Vice versa, if you think you hate something or a person make you feel like you can't do it, the right person will swing you that way if that's truly what your heart desire.

Make that fiddle sing. You know you want to hear it sing. You know you want to sing.
